The Reason to Write

A few weeks ago, I was at a dinner party, and the conversation turned to the hot topic of the day – Fifty Shades of Grey. As the women drank wine, they talked in hushed tones about the trilogy. They giggled, blushed and put their hands over their mouths while discussing such a scandalous topic.

The men puffed out their chests as they bragged about their wives’ newfound sexual longings. More than once, a man said, “She reads a few pages, and she’s ready to go!” Everyone laughed, but I just stood there studying the scene. All of this over a couple of books?

I began to wonder: What would they think if they knew I had a cage in my house? What about a collection of vibrators, dildos and strap-ons? Would they find my ropes and handcuffs interesting?

They must have noticed me thinking about another world because someone finally asked, “Have you read the book?” I answered honestly – not boastfully – that I had not. “I don’t have to read it. I’ve lived it.”

I am a forty-something, professional male who decided a long time ago to experience everything I could – both physically and mentally. It’s impossible to experience it all, but I can’t be blamed for trying.

I will check into this blog periodically to write about events – both fact and fantasy. I hope you enjoy “Still, You Turn Me On” as much as I will.

  1. I always imagine how my friends would imagine if I tell them. So far I’ve only told D. Her response was “wow I am honored to be the one who shares your secret.” ;>

    • I have one friend who knows a few things. I’m not sure it’s something that everyone would understand. I’m not even sure if I should put everything on here.

      • it’s your secret territory. I would say feeling comfortable writing is more important than whether it’s 100% the true self or not. Besides what is the true self anyway? 😉

  2. oops. how my friends would *react*

  3. Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting.
I totally relate to you writing this “… decided a long time ago to experience everything I could – both physically and mentally.” That is how I felt and continue to feel almost two years ago. 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog and comment. You have a great blog, and I hope you find enjoyment in this one.

It’s a good feeling to live a life open to new experiences. It’s also good to meet people in the blog world that have similar tastes.

      • *blush* Thank you. I am glad you like it.
As for yours yes I am enjoying it — a lot. 🙂

I have a feeling you are going to make fast and new friends here.

There is nothing better than making new friends who are like minded.

  4. Because, still, you turn me on (lol), I nominated you for an award…

  5. I’m looking forward to reading your blog. It sounds interesting and very much something I can relate to.

  6. leorah cannot imagine telling anybody she knows about her “secret” life…. although she is proud of the fact that she is her Master’s slave; she adores him and would do anything for him.

We have to maintain as much of a vanilla life as possible in public; he is a professional, the kids (luckily none at home) other family, etc… but, sometimes she thinks it would be so freeing just to be ourselves everywhere we went…

Oh well… at least on here…

    Thank you for sharing.

    • The Internet is a freeing place. It is very confining to live a secret life, and it is not the good kind of confining. People in my life are not very open-minded, and it sounds as if you and your Master face the same thing.

      • Yes, Sir. Very much like that… he is a VP, and … well, it is just not something you go and flaunt. Well, she can imagine even if one were a brick-layer or worked at 7-11 people are not very accepting of a Master/slave relationship in this country… people fear what they do not understand. she has been writing an erotic novel; it was posted on a website and she received one bit of feedback where somebody wrote “Stop writing, you are living a sick and disgusting lifestyle based on a 60’s science fiction book.” she was stunned. her Master told her to disregard it, that it was basically their loss for not understanding…

she believes he is right. Any relationship based on love, communication, commitment, is a good relationship. So… basically.. screw ’em 😉

      • Strong words from a slave but correctly articulated.

      • she begs your forgiveness, Sir.

she did not mean to be offensive.

      • When she gets in trouble… it is usually her mouth that is the issue.

      • As it is with most slaves. I haven’t had a slave in a while. Posting my adventures and meeting many excellent submissives has inspired me to find another one.

      • she wishes you the best of luck with your journey, Sir. she can imagine it will not be easy. When one “looks”, it is challenging… it seems it occurs most easily by happenstance.

leorah and her Master met at work… love at first sight; kismet as it were…

        Luck 🙂

But, being a truly dominant male (as there really are not very many); when you find that special sub, you will both know immediately… and it will be right…
